We were approached by several occupiers of a building on the Granta Park research and development estate. The leases were about to expire and the landlord had declined to renew. Instead, there were substantial claims for dilapidations. We were able to show these were unfounded and costs to our clients were negotiated to a minimum.. We were also able to get the landlord to return substantial sums held as deposits from our clients.

It was particularly gratifying when our clients retained us to help with their relocation to new premises. We advised on the new leases and undertook detailed schedules of condition to establish the position at the outset of our clients’ occupation.
