Croyland Building Surveyors were appointed by the local Council to manage the relocation of their depot facilities to a redundant park-and-ride site on the edge of the city. This involved liaison with different functions within a complex structure.
The depot serves to manage “Streets and open Spaces”. This includes waste collection and transfer, equipment storage, workshops, stores, staff welfare and training. The site had very limited services. Drainage and lighting were damaged or defunct. There was only one small building for waiting area and toilets. Croyland Building Surveyors were engaged to scope the works, arrange planning permission and discharge licences, fuel storage consents, pollution control measures, the co-ordination of various specialists, procurement and contract administration of the works to handover.
To get the best out of this site, and to provide optimum flexibility for our client, Croyland Building Surveyors were able to deploy wide-ranging design, construction and engineering expertise.
